clearly he's been ignoring the point of the prevalence behind flat design too

it's easy to design and develop for

that's the whole point, Microsoft just happened to make it look cool back in the Metro era

and that's why Apple only added shaders on top, it's adding skeumorphism back without giving complexity to developers
