🦊people make it sound like arch linux blows up if you look at it sideways but we've been daily driving it for like a month and nothing's happened yet

@roxy ive been daily driving it for 6 or 7 years now and the only times I’ve had to fix it with a liveboot are:

• when they removed a repo and consolidated it into extra
• when grub updates and fucks itself up and i forgot to reinstall it

@roxy Okay, but have you looked at it sideways in that time?

@roxy arch Linux blows up if you install the bomb into it weird, most other Linux distros come with the bomb pre installed so you don't notice, but it's easier to just not install the bomb

me, tries arch for a month idk it's kinda easy

@wizbean 🦊 I mean I'm sure it'll break eventually but every OS only lasts for about 2 years tops anyways

@roxy I feel it's because the Average Arch User doesn't know when to stop mucking about with their install, rather than just having some distro of linux that happens to be Arch.
