@xerz I’m surprised that the only problem I ran into was the volume being muted at first (well, other than comment parsing I guess), even the tempo seems to be 150 bpm like it should be (which I guess means my groove calculation was correct after all? maybe I just put the wrong numbers into that website)

I basically didn’t get a chance to test either the parsing or the playback routine before now, so

recreated the sound in lmms to see if the popping would be comparable, and… wow the quality of lmms’s basic built-in synths really is bad

(I mean I knew this already, but)
