i love ps2 era games so much like what do you mean i can’t save mid level?

i’m having so much trouble in BloodRayne: Terminal Cut because of this; for example in the act 1 levels you need to find 4 nests and destroy them, most of them in water. Rayne (the protagonist) is a half-vampire… thus, she takes damage when stepping in water. good luck. (if you do fail then at least you start at a checkpoint.)

obviously i’m not going to give shit to BloodRayne here (okay, just a bit, i am playing the re-release on my pc, they’re not limited by 6th gen console hardware… even if the first xbox was just a pc) because this was such a common Thing during the era but it really makes going back to games from said era really frustrating, especially since on pc saving your game mid-level is really old hat: doom did in 1993!
