React is way better than it used to be

what the hell

you can do as much compile-time, server or client rendering as you want

managing state is much less of a pain

you can do everything in React the standard ways now, including old-school scripts and stylesheets as well as Web Components

browser (extension) injections work, React will automatically trigger a re-render

like sure, React is still built over the idea of having its own, parallel DOM and event loop, but

it's kinda impressive to read on its progress, particularly on React 19

so uh

worst case scenario, I guess I can live with React and Redux Loop
