I want you to remember that as much as psychiatry can be an extremely autistic system of “we must identify and categorise every single kind of individual behaviour” it is also a system that historically has no ethics and no care for the patient’s dignity or health.

Why are kinks and sexual desires that deviate from “dick in da pussy” documented in psychiatry? Because we can. Because we have the means to identify and categorise them. The same way we have our own colloquial words for them that keep changing and shifting, because we can and will identify and categorise them.

But as much as that may be exciting, the truth is that our words bear weight and a lot of the words present in this list, when uttered to the media or the average joe, simply means “heinous criminal”.

Can you guess why the pro/anti fiction argument calls themselves pro-fic and anti-fic now?
