i have a feeling that if, in the next 2 decades, the US is able to amend the constitution to fix the supreme court’s ability to be a proxy for rich people to reject any laws that try to govern them, by some miracle, it would be the one place everyone looks at and moves to again

i don’t know about you Europeans and you Europeans’s governments and democracy but my home country basically copied the US’s governmental system and therefore copied all of the intentional implementation details of how to make the democracy not give too much power to the average people

and i know for a fact that many many many governments in the world copied the US
