@twinkle people have so many assumptions about how cognitive disabilities and visual impairments affect people. leave it to disabled internet trannies to not realize others have different needs than them, as usual.

@itzzen@social.translunar.academy @twinkle@sweet.succubi.services i think a lot of times people can assume that things they dont like have no accessibility benefits for people, especially when its not as concrete or tangible what those benefits may be. something that comes to mind is having a default interface with higher contrast might make it easier for people to use your platform, but a lot of existing users might see it as following a trend of corporate minimalism since theyre "changing something that was already good the way it was." i think it can be really easy to assume that somethings happening for no good reason when it comes from someone who does other things for no good reason.
