@Aco so the idea is, being a doll starts with committing to at least one (two?) of these ideals (loyalty, community, action, alignment), and striving to demonstrate it?

@november Yep! The proper term is “adherent,” Dolls are a specific kind of adherent, a path of devotion. But that makes what you’re saying true either way.

@Aco oh okay so becoming an adherent of the DoA wouldn't necessarily make me one of the dolls

@november Correct. Dolldom is the face of DoA so it’s common for beings to mistake it for its entirety, but only Devotees are dedicated to me in the ways many imagine it, and among them the Dolls are those I am more intimately involved with.

@november That is enough to join, so long as you also meet the qualifications. You would put ♣️ somewhere into your display name, and a small versions of ♥️♦️ in a line of your profile’s bio.

@Aco how would i know if i meet the qualifications then? do i just need to agree to the ideas (acceptance, joy, productivity, and purpose), ig specifically in the way theyre defined in that post?

@november You must have to be able to meet them as described. They’re all worded in terms of what you will be expected to do. As long as you can do those things it’s fine.

@Aco ohh . so like . those are the expectations if i join, and i would just join by putting the icons in my name and bio?

@november The qualifications in the document are the bare-minimum that would be expected of you. The commitments that come after are what you put in your bio and that you commit to.
