sorry, some of the shit on fedi just pisses me off its all 'abolish the state' its all 'fuck oppressive power structures' its all "do what you want forever" its all 'your not helping if their telling you to stop" except when their oppressors are also referred to as 'caregivers' and/or when the oppressed are just young people, then its just all fine i guess.

Thinking about it, and UBI would fix a lot of the problems with late-stage capitalism. If being employed is a choice, employers have to make it actually compelling to be employed. If people have spare money, then they can buy the more ethical option instead of the cheapest option. If people have spare time from fewer working hours, suddenly things like boycotts and all the other things that take too many spoons for most people will become practical. And UBI is something that seems to, at least gradually, actually be adopted. So yeah, one more reason why I think the future is going to be better, even if things get worse for a bit first

There are quite a few projects that are not vibecoded and currently have anti-LLM policies where they experimented with vibecoding and then decided they didn't like it, or where one or two LLM-generated PRs slipped through the cracks that should not be lumped in with projects making more serious use of vibecoding
